Shoulder Pain

Here are Some Tips to Reduce Pain in Your Shoulder

The first step is to be aware of what causes the pain.

This might sound obvious, but it matters in helping us determine what movements to avoid or minimize during recovery.

I usually tell people to keep their pain at a 3/10 or less. This helps keep someone moving as much as possible, while still listening to their body to avoid worsening the injury.

This can be difficult for overhead athletes since the pain can present in different stages of the throwing motion.

Ultimately, each situation is different, but here are a few exercises we give our athletes to help get out of shoulder pain.
